The Epilepsy Association of Calgary

CENTRAL ALBERTA OFFICE
On June 1, 2000, we opened an office in Red Deer, thanks to the support of the United Way of Central Alberta. This office serves the residents of Central Alberta. Thanks to their on-going support as well as the support of the Central Alberta community, we began our tenth year of programming for people in Central Alberta who are affected by epilepsy in June 2010.

If you live in Red Deer or the Central Alberta area, please feel free to call or email our Program Coordinator with your questions.

Upcoming Events at the Central Alberta Office

Support/Discussion Groups

Groups are held Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Epilepsy Association of Calgary - CENTRAL ALBERTA OFFICE 4811 - 48th Street, Red Deer, AB.
Calling All Parents! We've heard that there are parents in the Central Alberta Region who would be interested in attending a Parent Network Meeting. If there is enough interest we will schedule a session. Please let Norma know if this is of interest to you.

A small group of young people affected by epilepsy began meeting last fall. If you are a young person living with epilepsy, and would like to learn more about the opportunity to meet others who share your concerns - the group would love to meet you. There are no meeting dates scheduled at this time, however, if you are interested, we will let you know when and where the next gathering is held. This group is interested not only in meeting and supporting one another, but in looking for ways they can contribute to creating understanding about epilepsy.
