November is Epilepsy Education Month!

Our new Epilepsy Month Poster features local children who really did make a difference. In the spring of 2008 – the students of Haultain Memorial School held a head shave to support a classmate with epilepsy. The event was conceived by a nine year old by – Ethan Drage – but his classmates, student leaders, teachers, parents, and friends quickly got on board. These students not only raised $11,000 they succeeded in educating hundreds of people about epilepsy – all while supporting a classmate! We were thrilled that these same children agreed to help spread the message of acceptance, support, and caring – in a word – FRIENDSHIP – by participating in this new poster. What an inspiring group of young people. If you think you can’t make a difference – think again!
